There are
so many great things to do at Christmas in New York.
No
Christmas in complete without ice skating at the
Rockefeller Center. Enter the Center from Fifth
Avenue
(Between 49th and 50th Streets), and prepared to line up
as there is only room for 150 skaters. For more
info phone 212.332.7654 or visit
Rockefeller ice skating. And while you are
there, you must take a look at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree.
Central
Park also offers ice skating at the
Wollman Rink, and you can even hold a Christmas
party there!
Christmas windows have long been a New York tradition,
and 2011 is no exception. Manhattan is full of
amazing stores that go far beyond the norm at Christmas,
and here are some of the very best Christmas windows:
>> Barneys
>> Bergdorf Goodman
>> Bloomingdale's
>> Macys
>> Lord & Taylor
>> Saks Fifth Avenue |
Christmas wouldn't be the same without the annual New
York Holiday Markets around the city - so many things to
do (and buy)! >> Union Square Holiday Market
November 18 – December 24 2011
>> Columbus Circle Holiday Market
November 30 – December 24 2011
>> Bryant Park Holiday Market
October 27 2011 – January 8 2012
>> Grand Central Terminal Holiday Fair
November 14 – December 24 2011
